Higher Learning is led by a dedicated team of mentors, creatives and community leaders committed to developing young people beyond performance.
Our facilitators bring experience in youth mentoring, performing arts, community leadership, business and faith based development. We operate in small groups of 12 students to ensure every young person receives individual guidance and support.
We are not simply teaching stage skills.

Nick Karnel Williams
Director of Higher Learning
Nick Karnel Williams is the Director of Higher Learning and has spent over two decades mentoring and developing young people across Australia and New Zealand.
His background spans performing arts leadership, youth mentoring, creative direction and artist management. Over the years he has managed and developed artists including Donell Lewis and Sam V, while simultaneously building platforms that elevate young voices through performance and authorship.
Nick is also the Owner and CEO of MATAI, an international watch brand, where he has led brand strategy, product development and global distribution. His entrepreneurial experience allows Higher Learning to operate with both creative depth and commercial structure.
His passion remains consistent. To build young people who understand their purpose, communicate with confidence and lead within their communities.
Albert Tevita
Principal and Strategic Community Director
Albert Tevita serves as Principal and Strategic Community Director within Higher Learning, bringing extensive leadership experience across community, faith and youth engagement sectors.
He is the President of Pacific Islands Mt Druitt Action Network and has served the Mt Druitt community and surrounding schools for many years through mentoring, advocacy and youth development initiatives.
Albert is the Owner and Director of Choose L1FE and serves as Pastor at The Rock Community Centre. His work has consistently focused on strengthening families, empowering young people and creating safe environments for growth and leadership.
Within Higher Learning, Albert provides community oversight, pastoral leadership and strategic direction, ensuring the program remains grounded in strong values while expanding its impact.
Andrew Lui
Founding Advisor
Andrew Lui is the Founder of MATAI and serves as Executive Chairman within the Higher Learning leadership structure.
With a strong foundation in business development, brand creation and long term strategic growth, Andrew played a pivotal role in establishing MATAI as a recognised brand and platform.
His experience in governance, business structuring and brand positioning supports Higher Learning’s long term vision to expand nationally while maintaining integrity, excellence and sustainability.
Andrew provides executive oversight and ensures the long term direction of Higher Learning aligns with its founding values and growth strategy.
