Who We Are

Higher Learning Performing Arts is a Christian based creative leadership program operating in Colyton, Penrith and Cabramatta, with a vision to expand across Australia.

With over two decades of experience in youth mentoring, performing arts and community development, Higher Learning was built to give young people a platform to discover their voice, develop their identity and step into purpose.

We intentionally operate in small groups of 12 students per program. This ensures depth, personal mentorship and measurable growth.

Higher Learning is not simply a drama class.

It is a structured leadership and communication program that teaches young people how to think critically, write articulately and perform their own original material with confidence.

Our mission is to equip young people to understand their purpose, communicate with clarity and lead with integrity.

We believe creativity is a powerful tool for growth. Through theatre, writing, songwriting and performance, students develop confidence, resilience and character.

We are guided by Christian values of faith, discipline, service and responsibility. These foundations shape how we teach, mentor and build community.

Our long term vision is to build a hybrid learning model that blends performing arts, authorship, leadership and innovation into a structured education pathway.

We are developing a model that integrates:

• Creative writing and book publishing
• Theatre and public speaking
• Media and content creation
• Leadership and communication development

We believe young people should graduate from our program not only as performers, but as thinkers, writers and leaders.

What We Do

Higher Learning focuses on potential, not limitation.

Students are taught to write their own scripts, develop monologues, publish books and present original work. They learn to communicate ideas with confidence and structure.
